Do you put special marks on textile products made from recycled organic materials so that customers know this and feel involved in saving the environment? We are working on new graphic descriptions of our eco-friendly products to provide complete information. But we always provide our customers with all the information about our product, explaining in store all the work that is done on a single product, and using the QR code attached to the products, you can navigate our website www.daphne.it and read the history of our company, the principles that inspire us and discover many curiosities. Some of your company%u2019s products are created by women who find themselves in difficult life situations. In your opinion, is the demand in modern society for support for these women sufficient to draw attention to the need for their social adaptation and support through the purchase of products?Unfortunately, there is never enough support because this phenomenon is tragically growing. Maison DAPHN%u00c9, in its own way, tries to support social sustainability. Restoring the dignity of women in difficult situations through work is the first thing that must be done to regain their economic independence. This is what guided my mother, more than 60 years ago, when she chose the profession of a seamstress %u2013 a profession to which she firmly adhered because it gave her economic independence, income, but also freedom of thought and the opportunity to independently manage her work and exploit her own creativity as she wished. We in Russia know San Remo well, largely thanks to the song festival that is held annually in your city. Do you create textile or perfume novelties specifically for the date of the festival? For the festival we have a special fragrance called Festival. It is a unisex fragrance with a very specific spicy-floral tone. We also have several collections of scarves, such as Music%u0430, created for the Ariston Theatre in San Remo and a bestseller during the festival. You recently visited Australia. What do you think unites the buyers of your products in Italy, Europe and Australia, and are there any differences in their preferences?I went to Australia on a mission with the association of women entrepreneurs %u00abFCEM Mondiale%u00bb and it was an experience that enriched me culturally and humanly. DAPHN%u00c9%u2019s customers in Italy, Europe and Australia share a common vision: they are people who value genuine craftsmanship, recognizing the beauty and quality of a product that is not only aesthetically refined but also made with care and healthy materials. This profile goes beyond national differences: their interest is not determined by geographical origin or the name of a more or less wellknown brand, but by a sensitivity to what is handmade with passion and attention to detail. The culture of beauty and wellmade things is universal, and DAPHN%u00c9 is aimed precisely at those who share it. I was able to verify this by talking to the same women entrepreneurs who, despite being on the other side of the world, share the same business concept.Barbara, have you been to Russia? How would you characterize your vision of our country?I have been to Russia many times and I must say that for me it is always a charming and exotic country. Russia can be fascinating with its culture and traditions. A country that needs to be discovered with an open mind, understanding its essence. It amazes with its breadth, the monumentality of the main cities %u2013 Moscow and St. Petersburg and the beauty of pristine nature.Continued in the next issuewww.osminog.pro 37
